There’s some empty space, lets build!

Another large residential zoning proposal is going before the Chesterfield Councils tonight. Over a month ago Branner Station, which encompasses 1,614 acres, will include almost 5,000 homes and apartments, 470,000 square feet of business space, parks and two school sites, was presented and approved. Now Roseland will be presented, 5,140 residences — 60 percent single-family, 40 percent multifamily — and 1.5 million square feet of commercial and office space.

  1. I hadn’t heard about that one until now.

There’s the “Green Monster” subdivision supposed to be coming down off Hull St Rd past Rt 288 that I’ve heard of, and I thought there was another one but maybe that was this.

That’s a whole lot of houses being developed around 288! I’m happy I’m not living over that way.
