Protesters Eaten by Vultures!
According to nbc12, protesters were meeting at the Dutch Gap Conservation Area this morning to protest the killing of Vultures. I don’t think any of the protesters were eaten. However, officials from the park - say that the Vultures have become quite a nuisance to park visitors by damaging vehicles. Vultures seem to like rubber and find windshield wipers and door seals a great snack.
I’m not sure how I feel about this - If the birds are damaging property. Is killing a few or even half of the population going to stop the remaining Vultures from damaging property?
