Man hit by train
On March 14th, Police said the man was walking on the train tracks when he was struck by a southbound train. The injured victim was transported by Med-Flight to VCU Medical Center. Police are still investigating
Seriously, I just posted a news release on a woman being struck by a train. I think the lesson learned here is that when there is a competition between a human and a train, always bet on the train.

On March 13th, I crossed the tracks several times near the floodwall and triple crossing downtown while I was out to take photos of the blue heron rookery.
