Kid’s bus stop outside of sex offenders house

Well that sounds like a smart idea, I don’t know why parents are having a hard time with this! Kind of like placing alcohol in front of an alcoholic or handing cigarettes to a recent nicotine addict — not a good idea. It may no be against the law for him to live there but surely we can just move the bus stop, right?

  1. A totally different reason, but I thought it related with regards to the district moving bus stops:

    Earlier this school year, my daughter was going to a home for before and after school care, which happened to have a bunch of other kids for before & after care. The bus stop however was around 1/3 mile away. The interesting part is that by far the majority of those who would go to the bus stop were from this home, but the district would NOT move the bus stop.

    That being said, this REALLY WOULD be hard - temptation being so near to where he is living. I’m really curious what the outcome is.
