Well it seems like it’s official. The Richmond Braves will be heading South in 2009 and will be called the Gwinnett Braves. It take us folks in Chesterfield a hop, skip and a couple of tolls to get to the Diamond but it’s a family tradition for many. How does the Richmond Braves leaving effect you??
I’ll be honest, I’m kind of sad about it. I mean.. I enjoyed going with my dad when I was younger, getting the ice cream in the hat, peanuts, hot dogs. I was hoping to take my kids one day. Oh Well… according to Doug Wilder, Richmond won’t go without baseball.
