The Chesterfield Domestic Violence Task Force will sponsor a free mini-training Oct. 22, 3-4:30 p.m., at the Chesterfield County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Building, 7000 Lucy Corr Blvd. The mini-training is entitled, “Stalking and Domestic Violence,” and will feature presentations by Beth Smyers, Chesterfield County assistant commonwealth attorney, and Sharon Lindsay, domestic violence coordinator for the Chesterfield County Police Department. This training will cover the diverse nature of stalking, how it relates to domestic violence and how the law applies to stalking.
