Child drowns in swimming pool, a devastating accident
Today in Chesterfield County, according to NBC12, a 2 year old’s life was taken after drowning in his family’s above-ground backyard pool. NBC 12 reports
Family members tell us the child’s great grandmother was watching the two year old while the grandmother took the boy’s mother to work. When the great grandmother realized the boy was not watching TV where he should have been, she panicked. The two women searched frantically and found the boy floating in the above ground pool. They called police who then rushed the boy to Chippenham hospital where he was pronounced dead.
