The second annual Head of the James Regatta took place on Saturday, October 13th at Robious Landing Park in Chesterfield county. The regatta was co-sponsored by James River High School Crew and the Virginia Boat Club. Rowers numbered 256 in total (49 masters and 207 junior rowers) and represented 12 rowing clubs. Clubs traveled from Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Richmond, Chesapeake, Williamsburg and as far away as Raleigh, NC.
