This evening at Robious and Huguenot a train struck an SUV and according to the RTD the “train hit the SUV, which spun and struck another vehicle.” Also reported, by Chesterfield County Police Lt. Jeff Parlier, the only injury was when the driver of the SUV tried to look at his vehicle and slipped on a patch of ice. Ouch!

Yesterday at 9:00pm a fire broke out in Chesterfield Square Apartments near Chippenham Hospital on Hioakes Road. After evacuating, a shelter was set up at Bon Air Baptist Church on Buford Road.
According to CBS 6 this morning
CBS 6 has learned the residents of the Chesterfield Square Apartments evacuated to Chippenham Hospital have been either reunited with their families or transported to Bon Air Baptist Church where they are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
